HealthCare Assistant (Back Office)

Upgraded Features or Functionality

  • WE ARE CONSTANTLY IMPROVING THE “LOOK AND FEEL” OF THE APPLICATION. STAY TUNED FOR EVEN MORE CHANGES BASED ON USER FEEDBACK!
  • There is a new CLASSIC VIEW which makes the chart look more like our old Synergy in the Cloud application (to ease in the transition moving from one platform to another).
  • View cost summary (cost of care) or profilt/loss for pdgm in scheduler section
  • Improvements to adding narratives in documents
  • Make claim button now visible for PPS claims without having to select a visit first.
  • In agency set-up, under claims options, you can check to “allow auto creation of claims that do not include billable visits” and “auto creation of the 2nd period RAP under PDGM”
  • Optimized the prompt when unlocking an OASIS to help distinguish which option the user should select.
  • Added height and weight on medication profile
  • Communication printout – caregiver signature changed to clinician signature

Fixes

General

  • You can change the colors of the patient statuses in Agency Setup > General Preferences

Intake

  • Intake wasn’t grabbing the “default fields” that were entered under General Preferences section on the intake.
  • Issue where assigning caregivers on intake and reopening intake sometimes wouldn’t show the ones you entered.
  • Fixed some usability issues using the keyboard to navigate through the intake.
  • Intake Report – got rid of extra empty space at bottom of first page

Scheduler

  • Issues when posting where sometimes it wouldn’t post or show the appropriate errors and warnings.
  • Fixed an issue when highlighting multiple items, it also highlights text

Documents

  • Document is open in another tab warning coming up opening or closing documents has been fixed.

Chart

  • On the demographics tab, the HIC number wasn’t showing if the patient had a lot of diagnosis codes.
  • On the Plan of Care, sometimes the footer was showing on the second page.
  • On Plan of Care printout (small and large font option) fixed to allow you to include face-to-face
  • Fixed face-to-face printout to always be single page only.
  • Showing the medication profile in the patient’s chart sometimes not appearing correctly based on a setting in the agency set-up.

Billing

  • Authorizations were not loading on patient’s chart
  • Issues where on the claim, the hipps code wasn’t converting the last character from a letter to a number because there was no medical supply posted.
  • Fixed some issues trying to select multiple transactions in a claim

CareGiver Assistant (Clinician Portal)

Upgraded Features or Functionalities

  • When changing the actual visit time on documents or appointments, the patient’s signature gets removed.
  • Faster loading of the “patient list” when clicking “add document” button
  • User Preference is remembered if the user likes to expand or collapse the header on their documents (so it opens the same way)
  • Added height and weight on medication profile

Fixes

General

  • On the Messages window, the count for “new messages from the last 7 days” was incorrect
  • IPAD layout issues on various screens

Scheduling

  • Getting “multiple patient charts found” while opening one patient from on-call scheduler.
  • On day view – error when selecting two consecutive rows and pressing “new appointment”
  • Caregiver Scheduler – the amount of time it takes to load patient list when clicking to add a new appointment

Documents

  • Entering or closing documents causing error about document open in another tab.
  • Now able to “compose message” while looking at the medication profile
  • When minimizing header, buttons were not displaying
  • On the waiting for signature, documents were showing even after pressing “view and sign”
  • Ability to easily change M0100 from transfer to transfer with discharge (valid for OASIS only)

Charts

  • Allow user to select early/late admission in status record
  • Error “could not load admission data” would appear on patient’s chart if you accidentally double-clicked it

Billing

  • Remember user preference in sorting for the payments/eobs/ras screen
  • EMC and List of claims – remember user preference to sort based on status or no status

Physician Assistant (Physician Portal)
