Review Choice Demonstration Resumes August 31 – Five Key Elements to Know and Understand
Review Choice Demonstration is resuming for Illinois, Ohio and Texas on August 31. CMS is bringing on the final states, Florida and North Carolina, on this same date. Very short notice was provided to these final two states who must make their Review Choice Selection between August 3 and August 17. Any agencies in Illinois, Ohio and Texas that chose to pause their RCD submissions will start receiving ADRs for Post Claim Review as early as August 31. Are you concerned with the resumption of this process under your current work from home requirements as well as additional workload? Are the impending avalanche of ADRs your agency may receive making you anxious? Don’t fall into a fit of despair! Instead, attend this webinar to further understand the situation and learn how to better prepare and confidently fend off this pending change!
Verbalize the three choices available for selection under RCD before you begin (CMS will make a selection for you if you fail to make one – you will not be able to make any changes to the choice for another six to twelve months).
Understand what required documentation must be submitted under RCD.
Learn the key words Palmetto looks for in RCD and ADR documentation.
Realize the time frame associated with the submission process.
Know three key items that have delayed or prevented receiving an affirmation under PCR submission.
