Learn About CMS Changes Effective January 1, 2021
CMS provides changes on payment programs and other regulations annually. Changes become effective January 1 each calendar year. CMS provides a proposal of intended changes in mid-summer which allows agencies to preview and comment on the intended changes. Agencies nationwide were unprepared for PDGM because they were not aware of the significance of the payment changes.
