ICD-10 Codes Effective October 1, 2020
Every year new diagnosis codes are created, deleted, and/or renamed. These codes can be very unique to certain diseases like glaucoma as was the case in 2019. Sometimes the codes are expanded across the spectrum. The ICD-10 codes that will be effective starting in October 1, 2020 have been announced and we will be discussing these codes. Come learn about these new codes, deleted codes and changes to the diagnoses code descriptions to ensure you are prepared for accurate coding.
